November 8, 2024 Dear JOHN, I want to thank everyone who took the opportunity to cast a ballot and make their voice heard at the ballot box this week. Voting is the very foundation upon which our democracy was built, and our nation is strongest when everyone can participate in the process. It is the honor of a lifetime to serve our community in Congress, and I look forward to getting back to work. I know many of us are troubled about the direction of our nation, and I share your concerns. It is our task now to heal, and to draw strength from one another. In the weeks and months ahead, it’s critical we set aside our partisanship, bridge our divides, and come together as one nation. We must never lose sight of our shared goal: building a future that uplifts everyone and gives them the opportunity to thrive. Here’s to the work ahead. Until next week, Joe Morelle New York’s 25th Congressional District
