Our worst fears have come to pass, and now we need to take decisive action before it’s too late. A second Donald Trump administration will be gleefully horrific for the environment and the fight against climate change as he unravels the progress we’ve made in transitioning to a green economy and kicks oil drilling into high gear. He’s already promised that on day one, “we’re going to drill, baby, drill.” But there’s still time — two whole months — in which we can stymie his plans.

Earlier this year, President Biden froze all new permits for liquid natural gas exports. Now it’s time for him to go one step further and permanently put an end to five major new liquid natural gas (LNG) export terminals before Trump gets into office — the Commonwealth LNG, Port Arthur LNG Phase II, Lake Charles LNG, Magnolia LNG, and CP2 LNG Cameron Parish.

Tell President Biden: stop these fossil fuel projects while you still can!

LNG export terminals poison nearby communities and export America’s climate pollution to the world, peddling planet-warming emissions and dangerous air pollution to the importing communities.

The 80-degree days we’re experiencing in November are evidence enough that the atmosphere is being pushed to its breaking point. Will you add your name to tell President Biden to end these five major super-polluting gas projects before Trump gets into office?
