Patriot,
Green policies are sweeping the globe, but their economic impact is becoming harder to ignore.
Around the world, people are waking up to the real costs of these policies.
In Europe, where energy is more expensive, voters are rejecting Green mandates. In America, JPMorgan Chase and State Street pulled all funds from Climate Action 100+, the world's largest investor initiative on climate change, while BlackRock, the world's largest asset manager, reduced its holdings and “scaled back its ties to the group.”
Politicians have long been able to ignore their policies' trade-offs. But now, voters are feeling the pinch, and they don't like it.
Few understood this better than economist Henry Hazlitt, author of Economics in One Lesson, who wrote time and again about the tendency of politicians to overlook the secondary consequences of their policies, which were responsible for “nine-tenths of the economic fallacies that are working such dreadful harm in the world today.”
We can't let politicians ignore the realities of economics any longer, and we need your help spreading this message.
The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) is fighting to educate the next generation about these critical economic lessons. I am Lawrence Reed, President Emeritus of FEE. Our mission is to inspire, educate, and connect future leaders with the economic, ethical, and legal principles of a free society.
Your gift allows us to continue providing students with the knowledge they need to understand these trade-offs and advocate for sound economic policies that will truly make a difference. Please donate today. >>>
Through our flagship program, FEE in the Classroom, educational online content, publications, competitions, and fellowships, we inspire thousands of students to think critically, question the status quo, and embrace the ideas that have made America a beacon of freedom.
But we don't just offer abstract economic theory.
FEE teaches students how these ideas play out in the real world, from Green policies to inflation and the dangers of overregulation.
Your generous gift helps FEE inspire the next generation to become lifelong advocates for liberty. Please support our mission by donating today.
