America overwhelmingly elected a racist, white supremacist President, and these are the results. Black people are already under attack by people like him, and he’s not even sworn in yet.
We have to be prepared to fight back against horrible hate crimes like this one, and the only way we’ll do it is together. It’s not just about the next four years. We’re going to fight back every step of the way, however long it takes, until we live in a world where Black people have everything they need and can feel safe without relying on the criminal punishment system.
