At SPUC, we - both supporters and staff - have been incredibly busy recently as we confront Kim Leadbeater's dangerous assisted suicide bill head-on. With this in mind, I wanted to share with you some of our work on this issue, in video form.

Palliative care, not "Assisted Dying" webinar w/ Dr Dominic Whitehouse

Dr Dominic Whitehouse addressed almost 200 people recently, on the issue of palliative care and his concerns regarding assisted suicide. The webinar was held jointly with the Catholic Medical Association (UK).

Alex Schadenberg - of the Canadian Euthanasia Prevention Coalition - recently sat down with Catherine to talk candidly about the very real and serious threat of assisted suicide to the UK. The stories from his native Canada that he delves into are perhaps the clearest examples we have of the inevitability of the 'slippery slope'.

Alex Schadenberg speaks at our Glasgow Conference

Alex Schadenberg recently came from Canada to warn us about the danger of assisted suicide, and the need to fight it! The horror stories he told us about, coming out of his native Canada, reveal just how real the 'slippery slope' is, and how it took less than eight years for Canada to hurtle down that slope.
