Lisa Blunt Rochester made HISTORY this week as the first Black woman elected to serve Delaware in the Senate!
We want to show LBR how proud we are and congratulate her on this monumental achievement! Will you sign your name and help us reach our goal of 10,000 signatures?
Back in 2017, she became the first woman and first Black person to represent Delaware in Congress. Now, she’s breaking barriers again by becoming Delaware’s first Black woman Senator.
This victory has also doubled the number of Black women elected to the Senate AND will be the first time two Black women will serve at the same time.
We’re proud to continue building Black political power across the country — join us in congratulating Senator-elect Lisa Blunt Rochester!
