Hi John,

You have a chance to win a NEW court fight against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his carbon tax.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is bringing a new challenge to the constitutionality of the carbon tax carve outs and taxpayers deserve a voice in the fight.

This is your chance to send Canadian Taxpayers Federation lawyers to have your voice heard in court.

You could set a precedent that will make sure the Trudeau carbon tax is scrapped and that a federal carbon tax never happens again.

When the Supreme Court of Canada okayed the Trudeau carbon tax, it was because Ottawa argued it’s tackling a national problem that needs a national solution.

But last year, Trudeau announced plans to stop charging the carbon tax on furnace oil for three years, a fuel primarily used in parts of Atlantic Canada.

Trudeau torpedoed his own argument for a national policy by creating a carbon tax carve-out that benefits some parts of the country more than others.

With that carbon tax carve out, Trudeau admitted the carbon tax is all about politics and left 97 per cent of Canadians out in the cold because they don’t use furnace oil.

Your lawyers who fight for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation are the best. They’ve won the constitutional battle against the anti-pipeline legislation. And when Indigenous activists haven’t gotten financial transparency from their band, we’ve won legal fights to get the books opened.

Now you can win the court fight against the carbon tax too.

Our lawyers are ready to file the papers to fight the carbon tax in court. But fighting the Trudeau government in court isn’t cheap. We’ve budgeted $40,000 for this court fight.

Will you chip in today by donating so your lawyers can fight to scrap the Trudeau carbon tax?

Organizations on the other side get court rulings for bad policies routinely. It’s vital for taxpayers to fight back. And we truly appreciate your support.

Thank you for standing up for taxpayers – you are making a difference!
