Dear Friend,
As the 118th Congress draws to a close, we wanted to highlight a few of the meetings and events that we have participated in that demonstrate our commitment to Minnesotans and Minnesota.
The freedoms we enjoy as Americans wouldn’t be possible without the men and women who answered the call to serve our country. It is our duty to ensure they have access to the highest levels of care when they return home. Recently, we had the chance to speak at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center’s 100th Anniversary Celebration. For many veterans, this is more than just a hospital – it’s a lifeline. As we prepare for the 119th Congress, rest assured that our office will continue to support the St. Cloud VA to ensure they have the resources and support they need.
Agriculture is a way of life in Minnesota. Our farmers don’t just feed our state, they feed the world and contribute billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of jobs to Minnesota’s economy. We were honored to receive the “Friend of Farm Bureau” award from the Minnesota Farm Bureau. We will continue to champion Minnesota’s farmers, ranchers, and producers in the 119th Congress and beyond.
Watch: Emmer tours Highway 65 project
Securing federal investments in our state’s transportation infrastructure has been and remains one of our top priorities. Earlier this year, we celebrated the federal funding our office fought to secure for the Highway 65 at 117th Avenue Project in Blaine.
Watch: Emmer participates in groundbreaking ceremony for Highway 212 project
Investing in our state’s transportation infrastructure isn’t just about saving Minnesotans time, it’s about enhancing safety, reducing congestion, and stimulating economic growth throughout the Sixth District. We also had the opportunity to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the U.S. Highway 212 Rural Freight and Mobility Project. Our office was proud to help secure $6.5 million in federal infrastructure funding for this project and are looking forward to its completion.
From supporting our veterans and farmers to our state’s transportation infrastructure, we will continue to make sure Minnesota, and our constituents are at the forefront of every decision we make.
Sincerely,
|
