For many of us, the outcome of Tuesday’s election wasn’t what we wanted to see at the top of the ticket. 

With President-elect Trump in charge of the executive branch, and Republicans having flipped the Senate, a Democratic House is the only potential backstop against total GOP control of Washington. 

Ballots are still being counted in races across the country, including here in Arizona’s 2nd District — where it looks like the final outcome may be determined by “cured” ballots: those are ballots that had some sort of error or mistake and must be corrected to count.

We’re trying urgently to reach the voters who need to fix their ballots, and the reality is that we’re all out of campaign cash to fund those efforts. We know it’s been a long, hard campaign season — but helping us to cure these ballots is an important step in ensuring all votes are counted in this critical race for Congress.
