For the last four years, our nation has been careening toward collapse. No images? Click here
November 8, 2024 EditionGod showed mercy! For the last four years, our nation has been careening toward collapse. Our economy has been devastating to families. Our insecure border has resulted in death, community upheaval, crime, taxpayer expense, job loss, and the erosion of our national identity. The woke ideology of the Biden Administration cost us energy production, the innocence of our children, and fundamental freedoms. Its ineptitude and incompetence have cost us our standing, respect, and moral authority in the world. What we saw happen on Tuesday was, at worst, a reprieve from the chaos, insanity, and decline. If nothing else, a 2nd Trump Administration stops the car right as it is about to go tumbling off the cliff. And, there is reason - based on successes in his first term and certain priorities espoused during the campaign - that much good can be achieved if he surrounds himself with the right people and leverages gains in Congress to secure lasting victories. Praise God! This newsletter will provide updates and reflections on the election as well as Frontline activities moving forward.
312 Electoral College Votes + National Popular Vote = Mandate This is the strongest Electoral College showing of any candidate since Obama in 2012, and Trump became the first Republican since Bush in 2004 to win the popular vote. While our President, Cole Muzio, predicted Trump would win 6 of 7 swing states, the once and future POTUS carried all 7. Prognosticators that predicted a “close” race were not technically wrong. A couple-point swing in Harris’ direction in just a few states would have swung the election. However, in modern presidential elections, this is a blowout. States like Ohio and Florida, which were the premier swing states pre-Trump were won by double digits. States like New Hampshire and Virginia were within striking distance, and the reality is that, despite the win, Republicans are still better positioned to make a “blue state” a “swing state” than Democrats are to contest a true “red state.” Diverse Coalitions Analysis of the electorate is still emerging, but the Trump win - much like the Kingdom - was fueled by a colorful, diverse people. He performed very well among Hispanics and put together the best showing among Black voters of any Republican in decades. This more-than-offset losses among white suburban voters, and it provided a formula that, if built upon, could position conservatives for long-term dominance.
A Winning Congress Republicans have taken control of the US Senate. With flips in West Virginia, Montana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, they now have 53 seats. In the event of Republican defections, Vice President-elect JD Vance will break a tie. And, it also appears that Republicans will retain control of Congress. Combined with is electoral mandate, Trump should face very little resistance to implementing an aggressive agenda should he choose to do so.
The Georgia Results Yes, it is great to see Georgia flip back! It was also great to see conservatives down ballot emerge in a better position than was expected. After drawing districts to give Republicans 97-98 secure seats, they pulled off a 100 seat majority. The Georgia State Senate kept a 33-23 R:D split, and our congressional delegation remains 9:5. Overall, Frontline’s priority candidates - that we did mail, texting and digital for - went a strong 6-0! Congratulations to Sen. Shawn Still, Rep. Jan Jones, Rep. Todd Jones, Rep. Scott Hilton, Rep. Matt Reeves, and Rep-Elect Sandy Donatucci! I Believe Campaign Success Our sister organization, Frontline Policy Council, wrapped up its I Believe Campaign. This successful initiative reached over 3,000 churches across our state - offering videos, sample sermons, voter guides, bulletin inserts, issue comparisons, and more. Additionally, we targeted low-propensity faith voters with optimistic messages encouraging voting participation. This unprecedented effort not only helped Christians be a godly witness this election cycle, it will fuel additional growth in our Church Ambassador Network. We are thrilled by what God did! Prayer Tour Frontline recently wrapped up a Prayer Tour that went from Dahlonega to Columbus to Macon to St. Simons. Here are some of our favorite photos;
The Death of Gender Ideology? Our President, Cole Muzio, has been quick to point out that the most effective ad of the cycle was the Donald Trump “Kamala is for They/Them” ad. There were a few different variations, but this one was especially powerful as a catalyst to flip minority voters: This issue was a significant winner in polling, and it amplified the messages on the economy and other failures of the Biden-Harris regime. Following up on his victory, one of President Trump’s first policy announcements was to seize on that mandate. Watch what he said: Read more about how this ad and message flipped the election here: What we saw Tuesday was a repudiation of gender insanity. Now it is up to us to seize this momentum!
