Team,

Yesterday we held a post-election briefing to break down the U.S. election results, what's at stake in the ongoing fight for reproductive rights, and most importantly, how you can make a difference.

The call was recorded and is now available to watchAs I mentioned in the call, the Center will be a legal fighting force when it comes to the Trump administration, and we'll need you with us.

PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS

Our discussion underscored the urgency of this moment for abortion access and reproductive rights. Here are the TOP 3 things the Center is prepared to do:

  1. Defend patients and providers targeted for investigation or prosecution, and bring litigation to challenge any misuse of the 1873 Comstock Act to block abortion access.
  2. Use administrative law and the courts to block harmful actions by the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Justice, and the State Department.
  3. Monitor dangerous policies and appointments, leverage oversight tools, and litigate if necessary to block harmful policies and protect access to care.

We’re ready for this next fight. We will scrutinize every action of the White House and federal agencies, amass the factual and legal record to counter agency actions, and work to stop harmful policies from going into effect. We're in this together, team.

Onward,

Nancy Northup
President & CEO
