Nandin and father
Hi Friend,

Nandin-Egshiglen, affectionately known as "Gunj" or "Sky Princess," is an adorable four-year-old from Mongolia whose life was transformed thanks to supporters like you.

Gunj’s parents grew concerned when their once lively daughter began losing interest in her favorite activities. They noticed that her eyes had started clouding over, and it wasn’t long before her eyesight got so bad she could no longer go to school. Determined to help their daughter, Gunj’s parents brought her to an Orbis partner hospital where she was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts, a potentially blinding eye condition.

Gunj received sight-saving surgery on board the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital during our recent project in Mongolia. Now she no longer holds things right in front of her eyes to see them and is exploring the world with confidence again.

Her mother shared, “I want her (my daughter) to see freely without anything to stop her from day-to-day activities.”

Well thanks to people like you, her mother got her wish.

Watch this adorable video below of Gunj on board the Flying Eye Hospital.

Once again, thank you for making all of this possible.
