John,

Despite VP Harris’ heartbreaking loss, Emerge women shine through. We are proud to announce our alums who ran for Congress won big on Election Day!

Congratulations to our Congressional candidates Yassamin Ansari (AZ-03), Dr. Maxine Dexter (OR-03), and Sarah Elfreth (MD-03) for their victories and for expanding the Democratic bench in the House! This means there will now be 10 women in the Emerge Congressional Caucus with two races left to call.

This is what Emerge does with our collective strength – we train women to run for the right districts at the right time and win. You are a crucial part of supporting Democratic women who are committed to delivering progress.

We’re so proud that with your support, Emerge alums Yassamin Ansari, Dr. Maxine Dexter, and Sarah Elfreth will join a new generation of leadership in Congress and look forward to adding Janelle Bynum and Lateefah Simon to that list when their races are called over the next few days. This is major progress for our movement to transform politics and to elect leaders who put people first and defend our rights. None of these victories would be possible without you. Thank you for your incredible support.

But our work here doesn’t end. Now, we’re gearing up to ramp up recruitment efforts to train a new class of bold Democratic women to build a firewall against MAGA Republicans in 2025 and beyond. Will you contribute $10 or more today to celebrate our Congressional victories and help us kick off recruitment season?
