We are excited to share that the Democratic Lt. Governors Association has delivered victories in the following races for second-in-command across the country:

🏖️ Delaware: Kyle Evans-Gay wins Lt. Governor seat! She ran on a platform of common-sense gun reform, winning against a legislator who voted against banning dangerous ghost guns and high-capacity magazines.

🍎 Washington: Denny Heck has won re-election as Lt. Governor, defeating a culture war crying far-right Republican who parrots Trump conspiracies.

🌲 Oregon: our second-in-command in Oregon, Tobias Read, won his campaign for Secretary of State! Tobias beat a Trump-supporting state legislator who tried to use his political position to have Oregon contest the results of the 2020 presidential election.

And in ⛰️ North Carolina: Rachel Hunt has FLIPPED the Lieutenant Governor’s seat — the very office currently held by self-described “Black Nazi” Mark Robinson!

Thank you. These races may not be the biggest headlines right now, but as you can see, the impacts are significant. We were only able to win these races because folks like you chipped in to our efforts. As the most diverse group of statewide electeds in the country and the second-in-commands in their states, Lieutenant Governors are the Democratic Party’s future.
