Folks,

I know we’re all likely reeling from the election results. While Virginians voted to reelect Senator Tim Kaine and for Kamala Harris as our next President, across the country we saw a different story. There’s no way to sugarcoat that this isn’t the outcome we wanted.

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for joining me in this fight. While it didn’t turn out like we’d hoped, we can’t dwell on this loss. This is when we have to commit to standing up and fighting for our freedoms.

The next four years won’t be easy, but I promise you that my fellow Democrats – including Tim, thanks in no small part to your support – and I will do everything we possibly can to withstand Trump’s dangerous agenda. We will be united against the forces of chaos in the White House.

The fact of the matter is, regardless of who is president, I pledge to always look for opportunities to get things done for Virginians and our country. I will push past the division and partisanship that tears our country apart.

In the years to come, we must band together and recommit to our mission of electing Democrats up and down the ballot who will focus on real results, not division and partisan gain.

That work begins now.

I can’t wait to continue working with Tim in the Senate to deliver for Virginians, and frankly, we all know we have some big fights ahead.

In 2026, we have the opportunity to reclaim the Senate, and my name will be on the ballot. If you are able, I’m personally asking if you can chip in $5 right now to my campaign so we can take back the Senate.

We will get through this together.
