I know the news this week wasn’t what we had hoped for, but no matter what, Angelenos will always protect each other.

The fabric of our city lives here – in people from all over the world coming together in pursuit of opportunity and equity. That’s who we are. That’s what our policies in the City of Los Angeles will uphold.

Vice President Kamala Harris led a campaign that inspired millions all over the country and all over the world. Her fight continues in all of us.

This is not a time for despair, this is a time for action. So let’s get to work.
