Thank You for Helping the Broward Democrats Get Out the Vote
Fellow Democrats,
I want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the energy, passion, and hard work you poured into helping the Broward Democrats get out the vote for the Harris-Walz campaign and elect other great Democrats up and down the ballot. While the results for who will be our next President did not go the way we hoped, the Broward Democratic Party's commitment and values remain unshaken, and our path forward remains clear.
While mail ballots are partially reported, our current Democratic turnout in Broward County is 405,917, or 79.08%!! Broward Democrats came out and ROCKED THE VOTE!! More Democrats in Broward voted than Republicans in Miami-Dade County! Your hard work helped make that happen.
This moment is the culmination of the relentless efforts and expertise of Executive Director Christina Disbrow, our amazing Volunteer Coordinator Cindy Johnson, our Area Leaders, Club and Caucus Presidents, Committee Chairs, Officers, and thousands of volunteers old and new.
Together, the Broward Democrats accomplished A LOT in 2024, including:

Together, we built something powerful. Each phone call you made, door you knocked on, and conversation was a vital step toward creating the kind of community, state, and nation we all believe in—one rooted in fairness, compassion, and opportunity for all.
The work we do together doesn't end here. We've laid a foundation to continue fighting for the issues we all care deeply about: a fair economy, quality healthcare, a woman's right to choose, affordable housing, social justice, and environmental protections. These aren't just policies—they are lifelines for millions of people and visions for a better future.
It has been an honor serving as your County DEC Chair. Now, we look ahead to continuing our community engagement hearing from our voters and activists as we take it to the next level, planning our next county convention, and gearing up for the next round of voter registration, Vote By Mail Re-enrollment, ballot initiatives, and March 2025 municipal elections. I look forward to continuing to work with everyone for the next four years as our successes grow as a local party!
In Solidarity,
Rick Hoye
