Dear Partners,
With election results clear, it is as important as ever that we come together as a health advocacy community to engage individuals, communities and elected officials alike.
The repercussions of this election will be felt especially by many who are already marginalized, regardless of how they voted. Families USA — alongside national and state allies — is focused on defending Medicaid, Medicare, the Affordable Care Act, and our health care system. In this moment, we must come together in support of our fellow Americans, whether they seek greater economic security or face immediate threats to their health and lives just because of who they are, who they love, or where they come from.
We invite you to a panel discussion with speakers from Families USA, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Community Catalyst, Georgetown Center for Children and Families, National Immigration Law Center, and Protect Our Care on November 12, 2024 at 2pm EST. One week after the election, we will discuss not only the key health policy takeaways but also the next steps as a committed and coordinated advocacy community. REGISTER HERE.
PROGRAMMING NOTE: We will be using the events platform Bizzabo. We will transfer over any previous registrations. Also be sure to look for a new link for the webinar.
Please email your questions ahead of time to [email protected].
As a final reminder, our What's at Stake Toolkit includes a recording of this summer’s Townhall as well as key resources on protecting health care programs, access, and coverage.
Thank you for your steadfast advocacy and we hope to see you soon.
