Message from your local Clifton East ward Councillors

We hope this email finds you and your families well.

In this incredibly difficult time for everyone, we, your Councillors, would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the community groups and individuals of Clifton who have pulled together by offering their time and effort to help those that are most vulnerable.

Whether you are an essential worker, one of the Clifton Hub volunteers distributing Government food parcels, have donated much needed PPE for our carers, have helped with shopping for those unable to get out themselves, are one of our incredible Community Protection Officers checking in on our elderly residents, have supported us in cooking and delivering hot meals for those who need them, or are simply staying at home and social distancing to protect our front-line staff, we offer our warmest thanks to you!

When we stood for election, we did so to support the community that we all love. However we can safely say we have never been prouder to call ourselves your Councillors. Despite all the challenges, seeing everyone pull together is testament to Cliftons strength and community spirit.

This crisis is far from over, and we urge you to continue following the governments guidelines to keep our community safe for everyone.

We encourage anyone who may need help, or knows of someone who does, to please contact *Nottingham City Councils Customer Hub* on *0115 915 5555*, *Clifton Advice Centre 07887 925 181* or one of us, your local Councillors [ [link removed] ].

We are in this together and we are here for you!

"Cllr Kevin Clarke, Cllr Kirsty Jones and Cllr Maria Watson"
