Dear [name],
This note is to share an update on selected races in which the Protecting Americans Action Fund (PAAF) invested. PAAF, a GOPAC Network organization, is dedicated to electing prosecuting attorneys who will enforce the law and defeat progressives who push an anti-law and order agenda.
PAAF had an over 80% win ratio this cycle. Early success was achieved in an important primary election earlier this year with the victory of Kelli Kearney in Kentucky's 14th Circuit.
PAAF helped defeat three progressive prosecuting attorneys in favor of Republican prosecutors as well as a Republican victory in an open race:
- Republican Tony Cillo defeated Democrat incumbent JD Tomlinson in Lorain County, OH by nearly 15 points.
- Republican Lynn Maro defeated incumbent DA Gina DeGenova in Mahoning County, OH by just 815 votes.
- Handpicked Democrat candidate Carli McNeill, who was the intended successor to follow long-time progressive DA Mike Graveley, was defeated by Republican Xavier Solis. He is the first-ever Republican elected as District Attorney in Kenosha County, WI and is also the first-ever Mexican-American DA in Kenosha County history.
- Republican Matt Schultz in Dallas County, IA was successfully elected as County Attorney in an open race, maintaining Republican governance.
PAAF supported the reelection of seven Republican incumbent prosecutors:
- Hillsborough State Prosecutor Suzy Lopez, serving the Tampa Bay metro area.
- Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell, serving the Phoenix metro area.
- Republican County Attorney Steve Howe, serving the county just outside of Kansas City.
- Other races include victories in Charleston (SC), Hillsborough (NH), Nueces (TX), and Macomb (MI).
Hopefully, this update and our upcoming coverage of congressional and state legislative elections prove informative and beneficial.
Thank you for your interest in the mission of the GOPAC Network.
