JOHN,

This election did not go the way we planned. Donald Trump won, Republicans have taken control of the Senate and look well-positioned to retain the House, and Lauren Boebert won her election in Colorado’s 4th District.

While this is an incredibly difficult pill to swallow, we wanted to reach out to let you know that this is not the end. And if we are to take our country back, it must, in fact, be the beginning. There are changes that must be made and we must look inwards ourselves as Democrats to understand what we must do better, but we know that the last thing we can afford to do is give up and back out of the fight.

Lauren Boebert won, but she severely underperformed what polling projected and what her campaign had hoped for in a district she believed would be much easier to win in than her old seat.

She is very much vulnerable in 2026 and we are here to tell you that we’re not going anywhere. We will continue to work to unseat her and we will work do even more in 2026 to fight back against the Trump Administration and the Republican Party.

We need you with us, JOHN. And we hope that we can count on your future support. For now, take a rest and recharge. And when the time is right for you, jump back into the fight.

We will still send communications your way on what we’re working on, but you can expect significantly fewer emails from us through the rest of this year.
