Friend,

As we collectively process this week’s election results, I am thinking of the 90% of LGBTQ+ young people who shared in our 2024 national survey that their well-being was negatively impacted by recent politics. 

As a parent of six children, and the father of a queer daughter, my heart is heavy as I think about the increased number of LGBTQ+ youth reaching out to our Crisis Services team over the past few days and today via lifeline, text, and chat seeking help.

Friend, our Crisis team has had a 125% increase in contact volume since election day. They need your support to make sure there is someone on the other side of the line to support and affirm them during this difficult period.

No matter who is in office at the federal, state, or local levels, Trevor will remain focused on supporting and protecting LGBTQ+ young people. We are steadfast in being here for them during these challenging times.
