John,

My bet is you already heard, but just in case:

We won.

It was a long, hard campaign. Lots of miles traveled. A lot of time away from family.

But as we watched the returns come in, seeing the support from across the state was overwhelming. We saw that our campaign had worked. People heard our message and decided they wanted that kind of leadership from their next Attorney General.

Here’s a photo from our victory speech that I love:

Jeff and his daughter, who is looking up at him.

(By the way, you can watch the speech here, if you’d like.)

It was a great moment - and we absolutely would not have reached it without your help. You can expect a full breakdown from me of the results of our campaign once we get some more data in, but for now, I just want you to know that the resources this newsletter brought in were crucial.

Thank you.

I look forward to getting started, and I’m especially looking forward to joining the dedicated public servants at the North Carolina Department of Justice in that mission.

More soon, and wishing you and your family all the best.

Jeff
