Congratulations, President Trump!
Huge congratulations to President Trump on a Texas-sized victory here at home and across the nation!
Two weeks ago on The Ingraham Angle, I predicted President Trump would secure a sweeping victory, winning between 297 and 312 electoral votes.
On the morning of Election Day, I spoke with the President and told him I was confident he would win a decisive victory and mandate by sweeping all the swing states. I didn’t know he would share my enthusiasm on Fox shortly after our conversation. He had to win then. I was on the hook.
It was a great night for Texas and America. The people rose up against the crazed leftist socialists and their attempt to take over our nation. There will never again be a candidate or President like Donald J. Trump. He will Make America Great Again.
Joining Dr. Phil on Election Night
Dr. Phil moved his studios to North Texas last spring. He also started a full news network, Merit Street Media. I joined him Tuesday night for about ten minutes in their Election Night News Coverage. Here’s two minutes of the interview.
Texans Turned Out for Republican Leadership
At the beginning of this election, I endorsed 64 candidates. Of the 55 state representatives I endorsed, 52 won. Of the eight senators I endorsed, all eight won. Additionally, principled conservatives like Senator Ted Cruz, Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick, Aaron Kinsey for State Board of Education, District 15, and these statewide judges also won:
I am especially proud to welcome Adam Hinojosa to the Texas Senate. His election is historic and ushers in a new era of Republican representation in South Texas and the Valley. Adam is a rock solid conservative and will be a great addition to the Texas Senate.
I look forward to working with him.
I’m also incredibly proud of the voters who turned out to support these candidates and uphold Texas values. Our state will be all the better for it. WE KEPT TEXAS RED!
They/Them? More Like Dade/Dem
On Election Night, Americans rose up against the radical leftist agenda to push our country down a path to socialism and undermine the very values our nation was founded upon.
Yet, there’s one Republican left who still supports the Democrats’ agenda and wants to empower them. Not Liz Cheney—she’s old news. This one is right here in Texas.
Dade Phelan won his primary with Democrat crossover voters. Now, he plans to be Speaker again, even if it means selling out to all House Democrats and just a few Republicans to reach the 76 votes he needs.
There are now 88 House Republicans. If he can get 76 of them to vote for him as Speaker, more power to him. But in light of Tuesday night’s massive rebuke of Democrat policies, if we have a Republican Speaker of the House controlled by Democrats, it would be a slap in the face to the 6.3 million Texans who voted for President Trump and the Make America Great Again agenda.
Thank you all for your support and everything you do to keep Texas red. May God bless you and your family, and may He continue to bless the greatest state of all—Texas.
Sincerely,
Dan Patrick
Lieutenant Governor of Texas
