I’m so grateful, John.
On Tuesday, Maine people showed up and I couldn’t be more honored that you’ve chosen me to represent you in the U.S. Senate for another term.
I’m thankful for the volunteers, grassroots donors like you, my team, my family, and my wife Mary. The outpouring of support I’ve received from engaged citizens like you is undoubtedly what helped take this campaign over the finish line.
In all my years here, I’ve traveled Maine from corner to corner many times over – whether on my motorcycle, in the RV with my family, on the campaign trail, or visiting constituents. I’ve talked to farmers, small business owners, educators, lobstermen, and what I’ve gathered is this:
Maine is a big small town, connected by long roads – and its people have an ethic of hard work, a knack for common sense, and an unbreakable spirit.
Together, we’ve accomplished so much, and I promise to continue listening, finding common ground, and working across the aisle to accomplish things for the people of Maine.
In the days ahead, it will be essential we commit ourselves to heal our political wounds and come together as a country to support one another, lend a hand to our neighbors, and remember America’s highest ideals of unity, democracy, and mutual respect.
But in the end, I just want to say thank you – for your support, your encouragement, and most especially, your steadfast friendship.
I can’t wait to get back at it!
—Angus

There is nothing more important to Senator King than doing right by the people of Maine. This means fighting on their behalf for the issues that matter most, whether that’s health care, national security, veterans, education, economic certainty, the environment or job creation. Throughout his decades of public service, he has worked tirelessly to build relationships and improve opportunities for all Maine people, from Kittery to Fort Kent.
