Dear John,

The mission at Polaris is clear: End human trafficking and support survivors on their journeys of freedom.

Today, like last week and next week, our fight to end sex and labor trafficking will continue.  As our country digests the election results this week and prepares to transition to the next presidential administration, a new Congress, and new local leaders, our singular mission and the organizational values that have grounded our work for the last 22 years remain unchanged. We will continue to center survivors in our work, use data to tell the truth, and change the conditions that make people vulnerable in the first place.

Ensuring our vulnerable neighbors, families, and friends can get help when they need it makes our communities stronger.  We continue to operate the confidential National Human Trafficking Hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in 200 languages. And we will continue to defend the Trafficking Hotline from attempts to break that confidentiality.

A strong fight against trafficking starts with knowing the realities of this crime, and that is why we partner with survivors who want to share their own perspectives and experiences. This is why Polaris strongly believes in listening to survivors, like we are doing with agricultural workers through Nonechka or the National Survivor Study (NSS). We will continue to lift up and create platforms for survivors to spread joy, resilience, and creativity.

For more than two decades, Polaris has been a leader in the fight against human trafficking. The resilience of survivors around us and our belief that we CAN end human trafficking power our actions every day.

So now, more than ever, we need you. We invite you to make a contribution today. Your donation will ensure Polaris has the resources we need to support victims, protect vulnerable communities, and pursue policies that will end trafficking once and for all.

Onward,
Will you make freedom happen now?
