While election night did not go as planned, it is with great honor and gratitude that I share that I have been re-elected to represent Ohio’s 11th Congressional District.
In my second full term, I vow to continue the fight for the future of our nation. In Congress, I have already delivered on big bills, including passing the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which is bringing millions of dollars to repair roads and bridges, capping the prices of insulin at $35 a month for seniors, and limiting the cost of prescription drugs to $2,000 a year for seniors starting in 2025. Now, this work has never been more important. I am ready to fight for the American people and to preserve our democracy for generations to come.
I am saddened by the fact that we have once again failed to elect our first woman president, a ticket that put hope and the future above hatred and division. But the work is far from over. We must come together now to build a better nation that works for all of us.
In the meantime, I wanted to thank you again for your unwavering support. I could not have done this without you.
Onward,
Shontel
