These are the words of President-Elect Donald Trump about Nigel Farage, leader of far-right Reform UK.

John, those words should scare us. Far right ideas are global and what happens in the US should act as a warning to us all. At the 2024 UK General Election, Reform UK won 14.3% of the vote, a record vote share for a far-right party. 

Reform UK is building a campaign machine, with plans to pick up hundreds of seats at the 2025 and 2026 local elections, giving them an unprecedented platform to spread their hateful and divisive views throughout communities in the UK.

What happened in the US yesterday could happen here. We must act now to stop Reform UK in their tracks.

John, we know what it’s going to take to beat Reform UK. Together, we are going to have to reach people who have been ignored by politics for too long, with real solutions.

Your donation will help us build a local resistance to Reform UK and their hateful politics. Our campaigners will work on the ground, identifying the issues that matter most to people, campaigning with them on local fixes and showing them that the solution can never be the far-right.

Money raised by this campaign will go towards practical things like leaflets, event spaces and campaign stalls. It will also fund our research work, exposing extreme candidates and their connections to the global far right.

The struggle for a better world has been made harder by Trump’s victory. We need individuals who believe in the power of community and are willing to stand against Trump and Farage’s division and intolerance.
