Hi, Sister District DC-VA Volunteers!
We hope you're staying safe and well! Thank you to everyone who attended our Zoom fundraiser for Jonathan Kassa, or have donated money--so far this year we've raised over $6,000 for Jon! Every dollar helps.
We have a couple of events coming up next week! First is our first phonebanking party for Jon, which will be done through Zoom. This will be on Monday, May 18th, from 6-8. You can sign-up here.
We're also continuing our documentary series (thank you to those who joined us for Suppressed: The Fight to Vote about the 2018 Georgia election). Our next showing will be May 20th at 7 p.m. You can RSVP here. We're looking to choose between a few: Dark Money, Slay the Dragon, A House Divided, or American Factory. We'd love your input!
