Dear Friend,

November is not just the start of the
holiday season. It's also National Family Caregivers Month - a
moment for us to honor all of the family members and loved ones who
are caring for someone living with Alzheimer's disease or another
dementia.

This is a wonderful moment to honor a caregiver in your life,
as well as all the caregivers currently working tirelessly for their
loved ones. Right now during our $650,000 Triple Match Challenge, your
gift can go 3X as far to further our mission to lead the way to end
Alzheimer's and all other dementia - by accelerating global
research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing
quality care and support.

Fight Caregiving Stress

Unpaid dementia caregiving accounted for 18.4 billion hours in
the United States in 2023, equating to a cost of roughly $347 billion.
This care can be physically, mentally and emotionally demanding
- more than 70% of dementia caregivers report feeling stressed
when coordinating care.

If you or someone you know is a
dementia caregiver, it's important to be aware of symptoms of
caregiver stress and burnout:

1. Denial about the disease and its effect on the person who has
been diagnosed.
2. Anger at the person living with Alzheimer's or frustration
that they can't do the things they used to be able to do.
3. Social withdrawal from friends and activities that used to
make the caregiver feel good.
4. Anxiety about the future and facing another day.
5. Depression that breaks the spirit and affects the caregiver's
ability to cope.
6. Exhaustion that makes it nearly impossible to complete
necessary daily tasks.
7. Sleeplessness caused by a never-ending list of concerns.
8. Irritability that leads to moodiness and triggers negative
responses and actions.
9. Lack of concentration that makes it difficult to perform
familiar tasks.
10. Health problems that begin to take a mental and physical
toll.

If you are a caregiver and are experiencing these symptoms,
reach out to a physician. We also provide resources for caregivers who
are experiencing stress or feeling overwhelmed.

For a limited time only, you can make an incredible three
times the impact in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other
dementia. Thanks to a pledge from a generous supporter who wishes to
remain anonymous, any gift you make by December 31 - up to
$650,000 - can go 3X as far to provide care and support to
families impacted by Alzheimer's, while also accelerating global
research and driving advocacy and education efforts.

We're so grateful to our anonymous friend for their
exceptional generosity. But right now, we need you to join them to
help provide vitally needed care and support and advance research that
can lead to more treatments and, one day, a cure. The strong interest
you've taken in this fight tells me that you want to make a
difference, and there is no better time to join than now, when your
gift can go THREE TIMES as far. Will you make your first gift today
while it can be matched 3X in impact?
