Team –
The people of New Hampshire have spoken, and I’m excited to share that, thanks to your incredible support, we’ve won this race.
We built a powerful movement of Democrats, independents, and Republicans who are tired of the division in Washington. This victory belongs to all of us, and it’s a privilege to say that I’ll be returning to Congress to keep working toward the progress that Granite Staters deserve.
To every single voter who showed up at the polls to make your voice heard, thank you. To every volunteer who knocked on doors, called neighbors, and helped spread our message far and wide – you made this possible. And to each of you who chipped in what you could, thank you for fueling our people-powered campaign across the finish line in one of the country’s most competitive and critical House races.
While we've won our critical race, last night’s election showed us that the work ahead is as challenging as ever. I know many of us are feeling a mix of emotions right now. The results of the presidential election and the shift in the Senate have left many feeling disappointed, uncertain, and even scared about what comes next. While I can’t predict what will happen in the future, I know that I’ll never stop fighting for yours.
I’m committed to working every day to preserve New Hampshire’s values. I'm going to work to protect reproductive rights, preserve Social Security and Medicare, combat climate change, and defend our democracy at every turn.
I am honored to continue representing New Hampshire’s First District in Washington, and I promise to keep fighting for each of you, our communities, our values, and our vision of a better future.
With gratitude,
Chris Pappas
