I know we are all processing the events of Election Day. There’s no sugarcoating what happened at the national level. While we grieve and take time for ourselves, know there is a community for you to provide support, warmth, and love.

Here at home, we kept CT blue. I want to extend my deepest thanks to every single one of you for your efforts.

To the Democrats who stepped up to run for office and serve their neighbors. To the volunteers who spent long hours knocking on doors, making calls, delivering yard signs, and talking to friends and neighbors, I am so appreciative of all your efforts.

Because of your work supporting the CT Democrats and our efforts, we are sending a slate of incredible, principled candidates to Hartford and to Washington. Through their leadership, we will continue to push for progress across the state and nation. From climate-focused infrastructure solutions to protecting and enhancing your rights, your elected CT Democrats are ready to get to work for you, as you have been working for them.

We have work to do, here at home and across the country. But after witnessing all the effort you made this year, I am reaffirmed in my belief that together, we will continue to build a stronger, more inclusive Connecticut.
