I received my legislative score from the Defenders of Wildlife – an organization dedicated to the protection of all native animals and plants in their natural communities.

Defenders of Wildlife envisions a future where diverse wildlife populations in North America are secure and thriving, sustained by a network of healthy lands and waters. Their focus includes:

1. Diverse wildlife populations through conservation efforts that are targeted at the full range of vulnerable North American biodiversity, "from plants to pollinators to predators."
2. Creating secure and thriving populations, working for the day when vulnerable North American species rebound to the point that they are thriving in robust, well-distributed populations.
3. Ensuring a network of healthy lands and waters – both public and private.
