Yesterday’s national results were not what many of us had hoped for. Yet, we must continue pressing forward. When I announced my campaign for State Senate last year, I committed to fighting for Virginia’s future—and that is exactly what I will keep doing. Together, we will safeguard our progress here in Virginia and work to flip the Governor’s mansion and hold the House of Delegates next year. We will heal side by side. We will stand firmly for our values, making Virginia an even better place to live. Now is not the time to give up—we simply can’t afford to.

In just a few weeks, a special election will be held for Congressman-elect Subramanyam's vacated seat.
