Dear John,
I know today’s news has hit hard—feels a bit like a bag of bricks, doesn’t it? But if there’s one thing I’m seeing, it’s the chance for us to regroup, heal, and keep moving forward together.
Later this week, we’ll send out a survey to gather your thoughts and feedback. One thing we can be certain of is that the pro-democracy movement is needed now more than ever. Even though the road ahead isn’t totally clear, we know where we stand—and we stand together. The strength to keep going is right here in our communities, friends, family, and all of you.
Please take a moment to breathe and recharge. Be proud of what you’ve done. If this was your first time volunteering with The Union and you felt like you were figuring it out along the way, know that you made a huge impact. So go ahead—catch some extra sleep, hug your loved ones, or take that long walk.
We’ll be here and ready when you are. Each of you inspires me, and I know that we’re all in the right place, together. 🇺🇸
