The fight for frontline communities continues

Dear John,

I hope you take time today to be kind to yourself, hug family and friends, and have conversations about what you’re feeling. While the election results hurt deeply, you are not alone. Our Earthworks community is resilient. We plan to fight and organize harder than ever at the local and state levels.

Let’s be clear: A second Trump term threatens to dismantle progress on reducing climate and toxic pollution, halting fossil fuel expansion, and enforcing critical environmental and health protections for our communities.

But, with your help, we will be on the ground working with frontline communities, policymakers, and partners to stop the oil, gas and mining industries from polluting our land and water, stop methane pollution, and fight for climate action.

We continue to stand with frontline communities who bear the brunt of the impact, from poisonous pollution to extreme weather events and rising sea levels that will destroy their homes and lives.

If you want to join this fight, you can make a donation here.

Look for more opportunities to join together with the Earthworks team and other supporters in the weeks to come. We’ll need your voice and support more than ever.

Thank you for all you do.
