We win therefore Idaho wins!

Last night was something to remember forever. Not only did things go so well in the nation, but things went REALLY well here in Idaho.

Back when George W. Bush won the presidency, a local lefty wrote an article in the newspaper stating that it meant that GWB needed to now work with the libs to appoint leftist (not his specific words) justices to the supreme court if he had the opportunity to appoint some. The gall of this lefty to think that a Republican victory meant the GOP needed to start caving to Democrat demands is beyond me. I hate to admit that I wonder what he is thinking today and I smile knowing that Donald Trump stomped all expectations and annihilated Kamala. Here's the true fact of the matter though... Trump has a mandate. And it isn't to cave to leftist demands.

Likewise, Idaho conservatives have a mandate. It was said that if Prop 1 passed, it was a referendum on Idaho GOP Chairwoman Dorothy Moon and her leadership within the Idaho GOP. So along those lines... the failure of Prop 1 may just mean that she has a mandate. Voters not only rejected the RINOs overwhelmingly in the May primaries, but at the GOP Convention when conservatives completely swept the moderate RINOs, and now with the general election when not only did Prop 1 fail by a 2 to 1 margin, but the GOP picked up more seats that many didn't think were possible. Dorothy Moon and conservatism has a mandate! And we should NOT back down. Or cave in.

Last night was a good night but what will Trump and congress do with it? Let's hope good things for our country. And what will the TRUE Idaho conservatives do with it? Let's hope the same. Mike Moyle needs to act like he is the conservative that he claims to be. We are all watching.

We are heading in a VERY good direction but we are only just getting started.
