We are facing deep disappointment as the presidential election did not go as we wanted.
Vice President Kamala Harris did what all leaders should do when we lose, she conceded the election to her opponent. But what she did not concede is the fight her campaign represented.
I want to share her words directly with you that she delivered this afternoon at her alma mater, Howard University, in Washington DC. Perhaps in hearing directly from Vice President Harris, we can find our resolve to sort through the emotions we are feeling today and chart a path forward for tomorrow.
