John,
Because of the generous support of gun rights activists and donors like you, GOA was able to implement a full-fledged voter mobilization campaign focused on turning out the 10 million hunters and gun owners who don’t vote. The Second Amendment was on the ballot—and the Second Amendment won!
President Trump was reelected, and he has promised to repeal the Biden-Harris infringements within his first week of office. The GOA team is already preparing to help the Trump administration repeal gun control and restore our Second Amendment rights.
Our biggest victory of the night, however, was when Americans elected a pro-gun Senate majority, which will open the gates even further for GOA’s No Compromise lobbying efforts. This also means the filibuster is safe and the new Senate will support the confirmation of numerous federal judges who will support and defend the Second Amendment.
Victory in Texas
GOA Victory Fund poured big money into Texas to ensure 2A defender Sen. Ted Cruz won his re-election bid. We were able to run digital and radio ads, send emails and text messages, and mobilize hunters and gun owners who don’t typically vote. Because of that, Ted Cruz was able to fend off anti-gunner Colin Allred.
Victories in Montana
In Montana, we had two BIG victories!
Tim Sheehy successfully ousted three-term anti-gun senator Jon Tester. In this race, we ran digital ads, sent emails, and texted Montanans to remind them of Tester’s anti-Second Amendment record. We helped move the needle with our voter outreach efforts, mobilizing Montana’s hunters and gun owners to show up and vote.
We also were able to defeat gun control lobbyist Ryan Busse in his bid for governor.
On behalf of the entire GOA Victory Fund team, thank you for fighting alongside us as we defended the Second Amendment. We appreciate your continued support.
In liberty,
Tim Macy
GOA Victory Fund Chairman
