I want to thank the good people of Western PA for once again trusting me to represent all of us in Congress. It is the honor of my lifetime.

Last night, my opponent Rob Mercuri offered a gracious and patriotic concession, and I commend him for a spirited campaign.

No matter what, in every day and in every decision, I will always put the good people of Western PA and this country first.

Today was hard for so many, and the results of the presidential election were not what we were hoping for.

But here’s one thing I want to make clear: I was willing to risk my life for this country because America was worth fighting for. It still is.

Today, and every day, we continue the fight for America.
