John,
Despite his lies, vitriol, attempts to overturn the 2020 election,
repeated unhinged remarks, and 34 felony convictions, Donald Trump is
projected to become the 47th President of the United States.

John — we
won't sugarcoat this: Trump’s victory is deeply unsettling, and what
happens from here remains unclear. But here’s what we do know:
* We will never stop fighting the Trump administration's plans to
transform our democracy into a dictatorship.
* With the House still in play, we still have the opportunity to halt
Trump's dangerous agenda from being implemented fully.
* Outside of DC, we still have the opportunity to enact progressive
policies and changes in the states and in communities across the
country.
* Down-ballot races will become more important than ever before.
* In 2 years, we will have the chance to retake the Senate from the GOP
— another check against Trump's fascism.
These next four years stand to be some of the most significant in our
country’s history, and we can’t sit on the sidelines while Trump and the
MAGA GOP continue to erode our democracy.
Trump and his loyalists have made their dangerous agenda
clear, John.
But we're not going to take it lying down.
And we’re not the only ones. A diverse array of grassroots organizations
and activists are readying themselves for the fights ahead — and they
could use your help right now. ⤵️

Once Trump is inaugurated on January 20, we will be ready to combat his
anti-democratic Project 2025 agenda each and every step of the way. We’ll
have more to say on this shortly, but in the meantime, we hope you’re
taking care of yourself,
John.
More soon,
