Friend,
I want to thank each of you — our volunteers, donors, and supporters — for everything you’ve done this election cycle. Your dedication made all the difference.
Last night, Kentucky voters made it clear: public dollars belong in public schools. Thanks to your support, we protected our children’s right to quality public education, defeating the voucher schemes pushed by out-of-state billionaires.
Despite a national red wave, we held the line in the General Assembly and elected leaders like Adam Moore, Erika Hancock, and Matt Lehman who will stand up for Kentucky values. And to our candidates who didn’t win, your commitment to public service has strengthened our Commonwealth.
Though the presidential result wasn’t what we’d hoped, I’m proud of Vice President Kamala Harris’s unifying campaign. Her vision inspires us to keep pushing forward.
There’s more work to do, and with you by our side, we’re ready for it. Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re building a brighter Kentucky.
In gratitude,
Colmon Elridge
Chair, Kentucky Democratic Party
