This is not the result any of us wanted. I am sitting beside you all in anger, in frustration, and in grief.
I refuse, however, to just sit by and let Trump and his MAGA fanatics rule our country.
VP Harris and Governor Walz ran a historic campaign. Millions of Americans supported their message of hope – we thank them for inspiring us to envision a better America for everybody – however, this momentum does not go away. Emerge alums are still at the forefront and our state legislature win rate as of right now is 70%.
They have inspired so many to pick up the torch and continue their work. We have seen this before, especially at Emerge after 2016. Emerge will continue to work, recruiting and training the next generation of Emerge candidates and providing them with the tools to run and win.
