There aren’t words to adequately convey the appreciation I have for you, your support, and all you did for our campaign.

From every neighborhood and community in our great city, you came to help knock on doors, phone voters, host hundreds of house parties, talk to voters at farmers markets, and raise money. It’s because of you that our campaign reached voters in every neighborhood right up to 8:00 pm last night.

And I cannot thank you enough.

I’m so proud of the diverse communities that supported our campaign because of the values we hold. As a daughter of San Francisco, nothing makes me prouder than knowing we all came together because of our love for this city.

There’s no sugarcoating it, the national results are devastating. But, as San Franciscans, we will rise in defense of our values to protect and affirm the civil and reproductive rights of everyone. We will never back down. Instead, we will come together to ensure that who we are and what we stand for will never be torn down by one person or their movement.

I appreciate you and all you have done and will continue to do to uplift the city we all love.
