Despite our best efforts, Donald has tricked the American people into giving him another 4 years in office.
The election results were absolutely devastating, to say the least.
Not only did Donald win, but we failed to defend the Senate, and the House still hangs in the balance. It seems likely Donald will have a governing trifecta.
I’m not going to lie and tell you there’s any silver lining here, John. This is a tremendous blow to our country, its people, and its future.
But now more than ever, it’s critical that we don’t give up the fight. We need to be ready to win off-year elections, flip state legislatures, and mobilize the supporters we’re going to need to make sure this is the last time we feel this way.
Donald’s got an enemies list a mile long, and my name is going to be right near the top.
But I refuse to be intimidated by such a small man. I aim to make his job as difficult as humanly possible every step of the way, and I’m hoping you’ll be by my side.
