Last night, our grassroots movement Stood Tall for All.

We won reelection! Thank you, John, for standing with me and fighting for our community. We could not have won this election without you and your unwavering support. As ballots continue to be counted, our margin of victory may change slightly, but I am proud to say that we accomplished our task — winning reelection and stopping a far-right extremist from taking advantage of our community.

It's evident that the strength of our grassroots movement was not matched across the country; the joy of our victory is surely dampened by Donald Trump's return to the White House.

But here's a fact that I want to share with you: Trump won our house district, but our campaign outperformed the top of the ticket by 5% — the same as when I ran for Congress in 2020.

MAGA extremists can be defeated, but only if we take a stand. Together, we proved that last night. We built a movement that Stood Tall for public education, abortion rights, hard-working families, and for our entire community because we deserve more than a far-right, MAGA extremist as our representative.

We are all still reeling, but starting today, Trump and his allies will push the bounds of their power as they seek to undermine democratic norms and install their far-right agenda. So our movement doesn't end today, tomorrow, or next year. Because we will always lead our community and fight against the MAGA movement and their far-right demands.
