Charge Conference Information

It’s that time of year again! Charge Conference reporting for 2024 has a twist! This year all forms are digital (click here for forms). This means they will need to be completed online. Be sure to download the Checklist to help guide in this process. All reports are due December 1 including the Pastoral Support Forms (Addendums-Full time only).

Charge Conference will be held January 12, 2025 at 3PM - Location Information To Be Announced.

Quilt Auction

Mark your calendars for the 2024 Quilt Auction, benefitting the Church World Service blanket program that assists those rebuilding after a disaster. Applications Now Open for NextGen Leaders Academy

NGLA brings together volunteer, part-time, and full-time youth and children’s leaders for six months of training, coaching and connecting. Whether you are new to ministry or a ministry veteran, there will be something for you. Topics covered include finding volunteers, having difficult conversations, youth and children’s discipleship, fundraising and more. Applications are open for summer local church internships. Interns get hands-on ministry experience and discover how their gifts and talents can be leveraged in the Church. Host churches provide this formational opportunity for young UMC leaders while receiving support and funds from the Annual Conference. Love Unites Campaign

At our Missouri Annual Conference session in June, Bishop Farr shared about his vision for the Love Unites campaign and the potential it has for a United Methodist witness against hate in Missouri. Starting in August, Love Unites billboards will be on display at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, Joplin, O’Fallon, and Sikeston.

The Love Unites campaign kit includes print-ready files for download, so you can produce yard signs, banners and T-shirts if your church would like to promote a message of love over hate.

If churches or individuals wish to donate money: make donations out to Missouri Annual Conference (memo line: Love Unites campaign), 3601 Amron Ct., Columbia, MO 65201. Once there is enough money donated, they will work with advertising companies to erect a Love Unites billboard in the Southeast District.

If a church wants to purchase a billboard on their own: ask the vendor for the production specs to send to their design company for re-sizing. These specs should be sent to Kim Jenne ([email protected]) with the deadline for production to meet their media window. The Annual Conference will re-size the art to the appropriate size for the board and send it to the outdoor company for final production.
