It’s official – I’ve been elected to represent Maryland’s 2nd Congressional District in Congress!

I am sure you will agree with me: now, more than ever, it’s important to have leaders in Congress who will fight for democracy, freedom, and the rule of law.

My heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who played a role in helping us decide this victory.

I’m privileged to continue serving the community where I grew up. My time in the House of Delegates and as County Executive taught me that when we work together, there’s no stopping what we can accomplish. I will take my values of open and accountable governance to Congress with me.

This victory was only possible because of you: dedicating your time to volunteer, putting out our yard signs, talking to your neighbors, and contributing to our campaign. Because of your support, I will be heading to Congress to be a part of a new generation of leadership: one that is committed to prioritizing people’s needs and bringing us together to deliver progress for everyone.

Thank you for putting your trust in me to represent you in Washington. I’m grateful to have the power of our grassroots team behind me as we take this next step and bring our movement to Congress!
