Last night, voters across the country sent a resounding message of support for pro-Israel candidates on both sides of the aisle, electing the most pro-Israel Congress in history.
In the races that have been called, 98% of AIPAC-backed candidates have won. So far, 320 endorsed candidates will be in Congress in January, including many of our Democratic and Republican champions who we helped win tight races.
Throughout this election cycle, we demonstrated that being pro-Israel is good policy and good politics. With your help and support, we became a leading political force in Washington, helping elect our friends and defeat our opponents — including anti-Israel incumbents and prospective Squad members.
Below my signature is more of what you’ve helped make possible this election cycle.
With the race for the White House called, we congratulate President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance on their historic election victory. We look forward to working together with the new administration and Republicans and Democrats in Congress to strengthen and expand the U.S.-Israel relationship.
As Iran and its proxies continue to escalate their war against Israel and U.S. interests, we will work with the new administration and Congress to deter, defend against, and confront these common enemies and to ensure continued support for our democratic ally.
Now is the time for us to build forward from our successes this past cycle. We must dramatically increase our support for our pro-Israel friends in the House and Senate to demonstrate the continued strength and commitment of our community.
This is especially important as well-funded anti-Israel groups are already regrouping and planning to recruit anti-Israel candidates to defeat our champions. We should be proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I look forward to working with you to build upon this momentum in the years to come.
