Dear John,
First, take a breath with me. If you’re reading this, you are in front of a screen and maybe popping between group chats, news sites and social media scrolling for answers. So, take a pause and breathe with me. Today, the words of one of our organizers, DyAnna, are guiding the rhythm of my breath: take care and take action. Inhale care, exhale action.
The election results are very clear and how we got here is complex. Over the coming days, weeks and even months we will continue to understand what happened because with a strong analysis we can make strategic choices. But, right now the people in office from school board to State House to the White House are clear and the possibilities are grim.
Join us and our partners on Sunday for a post-election call to connect with other Minnesotans who care about our neighbors and our democracy, and begin understanding where we go from here. Sign-up here.

Together, we can defend our rights and continue to build a Minnesota that the rest of the United States sees as a North Star for progressive wins that deliver for the people.
There will be more to say in the coming days, but today, one thing is clear: Our work did not begin with this election, nor does it end with this election.
In the wake of these results and over the coming years, we must continue to be together in community and solidarity, and we must keep organizing. Join us on Sunday.
